Founder James, once an antique typewriter collector, was captivated by the tactile feedback and precision of brass keycaps and mechanical structures during a restoration project. “Why can’t modern keyboards preserve this soul?” Driven by this question, James assembled a team of engineers and designers, establishing 7KEYS in 2014 with the vision of crafting a mechanical keyboard that blends typewriter aesthetics with contemporary functionality.
